Classic route idea
Two of the most loved U.S. routes are Yellowstone with Grand Teton, and Utah's Mighty Five: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands. Both can be built as family trips, hiking trips, photography trips, lodge-based comfort trips, or slower scenic drives.
For a bigger adventure, Alaska can combine national parks, wildlife, rail, lodges, flightseeing, and a cruise or land extension.
